The purpose of this blog is to awaken and empower women to the truthful reality of who they really are. It is my aim and goal to kindle and to stir you to purpose, break old unproductive mindsets, and aid in restoring women to their rightful place as Queen. Psalms 139:14 says,” I am fearfully and wonderfully made and wonderful are your works and my soul knows it full well”. I am in love with this scripture! This says to you and I, yes, I am beautiful just the way God made me and there is one unique me, and there will only be one unique me! The latter part of the verse says, and my soul knows it full well. It is time for women to rise up and KNOW full well who they are. We have been fearfully and wonderfully made ! So, I have determined to always wear my invisible crown, and I hope to empower you to do the same.
Acts 9:36-37, 39-41 in the NKJV it reads:
At Joppa there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which is translated Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and charitable deeds which she did. But it happened in those days that she became sick and died. When they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room. Then Peter arose and went with them. When he had come, they brought him to the upper room. And all the widows stood by him weeping, showing the tunics and garments which Dorcas had made while she was with them. But Peter put them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up. Then he gave her his hand and lifted her up; and when he had called the saints and widows, he presented her alive.
Ladies, just like the story here about Tabitha, perhaps something inside of you has died.
Perhaps a dream, a goal, a passion you once had, your ambitions, the ability to love again, or the ability to receive real love. Maybe you once saw yourself as a woman on top, a confident, bold, beautiful and courageous woman but after life’s disappointment, let downs or maybe even abuse, you no longer see yourself this way. Circumstances and situations have a way of draining the life out of you. However the truth of the matter is that today is a new day. The Lord specializes in turning tragedy into triumph. It is time for you my sisters to awaken and arise just like Tabitha. Awaken to a reality that you are beautiful, amazing and talented. You are queen. In the scripture, as Peter spoke to Tabitha and said arise, the Lord is saying to you today arise! Remember who you. Remember your dream, remember your purpose, and remember that YOU have been fearfully and wonderfully made.
To arise means to emerge, become apparent, to come to light or come forth. In Acts 9:40 it says, “she opened her eyes”. It is my prayer for you today that as you read this, the eyes of your understanding will be open to see you who are. Verse 41 of Acts reads, “Then he gave her his hand, lifted her up and presented her alive”. Ladies, real Queens do not show up, they arrive. As you shake yourself of those dead things and rise up again, you too will be presented to the world alive! The world around you will see your dream come to pass and that purpose in you fulfilled.
As I conclude, I say to you awaken to the new reality and walk in it. Confidently hold your head up high and walk into every situation and circumstances knowing that you are a Queen. Know that you are capable and understand you have been fearfully and wonderfully made and your strength is beyond measure. Love you and love being you. Each one of us have been called to a great purpose. Seek the Lord for your true identity and pursue it with everything within you.
Lastly, always wear your invisible crown.
